After a leisurely morning we drove to the southwest tip of
the island and walked the boardwalks around the “Nobbies”, as these rocks are
called. About noon we headed to
Melbourne, seeking the city, our campground, and decent internet.
And along the way to Melbourne...
We arrived a little after 3 at a very nice camping park
about 10 km from the city center, but a short walk and then a direct ‘tram” (street
car) to town. After walking to the
grocery store and grabbing some coffee and internet, we had a relaxing evening
at our site and planned for our full day in Melbourne the next day.
